Lighting is without a doubt your number one concern, by placing the object to be photographed in the light, move it around catching the best light at the moment.
A perfect picture must have the main subject to be the main focus. And for that to be achieved everything that is within the frame of the photography must be observed and details must be applied. It can be easy for the photographer to pay close attention to the person they are photographing and forget some odd object background, or some distracting item even at a distance.
